Book to take your next Healthy Steps with Julia Mitchell. Nordic Walking 4 Week Course by Julia Mitchell Includes use of specially designed poles and complimentary hot drink at the end. 4 week course including use of poles £75 per person. 4 x 90 minute sessions. Learning the 10 steps INWA method of Nordic walking. Thursday 3rd April 2025 : 2pm-3.30pm Thursday 10th April 2025 : 2pm-3.30pm Thursday 17th April 2025 : 2pm-3.30pm Thursday 24th April 2025 : 2pm-3.30pm If you are looking for a way to increase activity and reduce stress without joining a gym, Nordic walking is a fantastic full body aerobic workout using specially designed poles. It can be modified to suit all abilities. Compared to ‘normal walking’, Nordic Walking can: • Burn around 20% more calories compared to walking without poles. • Release tension in your neck and shoulders. • Improve your posture and gait. • Strengthen your back and abdominal muscles. • Reduce the impact on your joints. Terms & conditions Clothing Please ensure that you wear appropriate footwear (walking shoes, trail shoes etc with a good grip on the sole) • Wear layers as you will get warm • Bring waterproofs • Bring a small rucksack to carry anything that you need with you General If a session has to be cancelled due to inclement weather conditions and you cannot attend the rearranged date a refund for that session will be given. If you choose to cancel or not attend within 14 days of the course, unfortunately no refund will be possible Health Steps by Julia Mitchell reserve the right to cancel and amend dates as necessary. If you are unable to make the amended date a full refund will be provided.
